Chairman and CEO

Charles O. (Chad) Holliday, Jr., is chairman and CEO. He has been with DuPont for more than 30 years. Chad has been chief executive officer since February 1, 1998, and chairman since December 31, 1998. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he received his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. He became chairman of the Business Roundtable's Task Force for Environment, Technology and Economy in 2004. Chad is also past chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), The Business Council and the Society of Chemical Industry – American Section. Chad is chair of the Board of Directors of Catalyst. In addition, he is chairman of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and is a founding member of the International Business Council.
